2007 Muller family reunion

The Director of Human Oddities (DHO) proposes that the 2007 Muller Family Reunion be held in beautiful suburban Clevleand in mid-June. As several of our little oddities will be celebrating significant milestones, we thought perhaps we could combine their celebrations with an GIHO outing (aka family reunion!)

Kati will graduate from Magnificat High School, Andrew and Daniel will graduate from Incarnate Word Academy (as well as celebrate their Confirmation!) Rather than have separate festivities, we would like to hold a consolidated bash - inviting all gnomes, gnomettes, human and subhuman oddities alike. As this would be in the Cleveland area, all would blend into the environment easily - except for perhaps Aurelia - as we have no squirrels with artificail coloring here.

There are several low-priced, high-quality establishments to cage all; plenty of nearby feeding troughs, and entertaining environments for which to conduct experiments in habitual adaption (Tony will understand, the rest will struggle!) - perhaps a day at Cedar Point, Six Flags, or one of several water parks; a jaunt to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; or perhaps just running natural in the nearby forest. Other events could be entertained as well.

We are thinking the weekend of June 15 - 17, or 22 -23. We could include a tribute to Pappa Gnome (Father's Day) and toss the Queen into Lake Erie for her rebirthday!

Please think it over and let us know your thoughts - share them quickly so they don't die from lonliness!

New Book Review from Marshgnome

Magic Hour by Kristin Hannah is an awesome book. I could not put this one down! (finished it at 2:30 this morning) It did drag a bit in the middle but all in all quite good. It's about a little girl that suddenly appears out of the forest into a small town carrying a wolf pup and with ligature marks around her ankle and scars all over her body. She doesn't speak and no one has reported her missing. Add a beautiful police cheif, her sister (a child psychiatrist that just had a patient shoot up her school and herself) and a hunky playboy doctor with some problems of his own and you get a really good story! The ending was pretty good too and I usually hate the endings! Til next time - em
