HAPPY 100th BIRTHDAY NANA MERRY

Today we would be celebrating the REAL QUEEN MUM"S 100th Birthday. I am talking about Grandma Madeline Veronica Volante Merry. A very beautiful, caring and loving Woman. Although she did't wear a crown( not here on earth anyway) She never wrote a world classic novel, win a gold medal or get a Nobel Prize, She was to all who knew her and especially to her family the most beautiful, courageous and unselfish Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She loved them all unconditionallY. Always there whenever she was needed in fact she gave up everything her home her friends her family to come thousands of miles to take care of all of us when we needed her. She cooked, cleaned and made our home a real home, she yelled at us, loved us, bragged about us and always was proud of us. She never forgot a birthday or anninersary of any of her kids and spouses, grandkids and spouses and great grand kids her friends and family or anyone else dear to her. She bought oodles of cards every month when her pension came and spent hours picking them out each one had to be special( Just ask Aurelia) She also took hours to write and address them in her beautiful perfect handwriting. She was truly a Woman of Grace and God and The Blessed Mother were her great comfort. She had a special Devotion and Prayer she used to say to the Blessed Mother. It was one of the last things she said before she died. And so to Honor Grandma Merry I am going to ask you to take a minute today to say this prayer for her.
THE MEMORARE
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O virgin of virgins, my mother. To thee I come, before thee I kneel, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the World Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer them..Amen.
Grandma will always be watching over you keeping you all safe.
God Bless you Mom I miss you. You are always in my thoughts and prayers and forever in my heart.
