Strawberry Pie from mountainwitchgnome
1 box of strawberry jello
3/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 cup water
1 qt strawberries
1 tub of cool whip
Clean and cup strawberries, sprinkle with some sugar, set in fridge.
Bring 1st four ingredients to a boil then sit it in a bowl of ice for quick set up.
Line pie crust with cool whip.
When jello mixture is cool, pour over strawberries and mix together.
Dip the mixture into pie crust and put in refrigerator.
Pie Crust
3 cups flour
1 cup and 1 tablespoon Crisco
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tablespoon vinegar
5 tablespoons water
Mix last 3 ingredients with a whisk
Mix 1st 3 ingredients till crumbly.
Pour in the last 3 ingredients and mix........Makes 3 pie crust
( you can use any fruit and jello, peach w/ peach jello and so on)
It takes about 5 ripe peaches per pie
Enjoy!

Is this a recipe for prison pie? What if you want to make possum pie...is there a possum jell-o? Or squirrel, or racoon, or armadillo? There are so many possibilities, but so few jell-o choices.-Brother Anthony.

Yes Tracy you want to brown the pie crust. You can set the oven to 350 and bake till brown.....
Yes mom I know I cant eat strawberries but everyone said it was delicious. Brother Tony, I suppose you can use jello of any flavor but when you make possum pie, (racoon, squirrel etc.) we here in Tennessee prefer using the juices of the road kill.
