Inauguration Day
Although some of us didn't vote for him and still don't want him to be President he is now in office.
Yes it is a historical day and he has his job cut out for him so we will just have to wait and see if this is a good or bad choice just like with past Presidents'.
Me personally I am sad to see President Bush leave and I pray that God continues to Bless him and his family.
I would love to hear your feelings on this day. So as Tony likes to do start pontificating.

What can one say except that the truth will out. He hardly looked at the Parade Flubbed the Oath. And even the music was taped.. Lets hope and pray that he will be able to live up to being the leader of our country. I will however keep him in my prayers he is going to need all he can get. As far as I am concerned he has some big shoes to fill. God Bless Pres. Bush I think he did a fine job. QMG
Actually Justice Roberts flubbed the oath, then corrected himself, then the President repeated his flub, then they had a do-over the next day!
I hope and pray the country can live up to our new President.
We, as Americans, should be proud of the the way we transition from one administration to another. Though power shifts regularly, it is always non-violent and always carries hope. With this election comes the hope that those that peddle rascism for a living will fall away.
I must add that it wa quite unfortunate that our new president chose the event to belittle the accomplishments of his predecessor, especially in light of the unprecedented efforts the Bush administration put forth to ensure a smooth and gracious transition. Nobody trashed the offices or stole letters from keyboards, or dishes from the residence.
It is also distressing that the first order of business was to ensure that more babies are aborted. I will never understand why this is of such great import to the party on the left.
I pray the president is successful, but his policies not implemented.
