Who Am I ?

I was a bishop of Smyrna. I am identified as a diciple of the apostles, or in particular of John the Apostle or John the Evangelist. I am regarded as one of three chief Apostolic Fathers. Only one of the many letters I have written has been preserved, the one I wrote to the Church of Philippi in Macedonia. I died a martyr. I am also known as the patron saint of earaches.
