A Thank You From Brother Anthony
Dear Family,
Today is May 2nd, 2006, the second anniversary of my being wounded in Iraq. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for the prayers and support you gave to me during the past two years. I thank the Lord every night for letting me be born into such an incredible, close, strange, diverse, and wonderful family. It was you who kept me alive when I was hit, brought me back to life when I died, and kept me sane when I thought I was sinking into an abyss and my mind began to betray me. And for that, I will always be in your debt. So, I raise a pint to you all and offer this toast: "May the dogs of war never dry hump your leg". Please say a prayer for me, my wounded comrades, and my Brothers-in-Arms who died two years ago today. I love you all. God Bless You and God Bless America!

I too am thankful that you are still here with us. I will pray for you and your comrades who unfortunately did not make it. You are my hero!!!!!!
Great! Just great! Now I'm going to have to go wash my mascara off my face just because you had to go and make me cry. And now I can't see because my contacts are all screwed up. Thanks a bunch! (I love you :)
SUre now you join the blog and you have to upstage everything we have ever written. (I kinda like the dogs dry humping- oh, wait did I write that)
Have great dreams.
hello father of mine:
you are my hero and i am so glad you went to iraq to defend our freedom. we are so amazing.
love, maddie
Screaming "Oh God, Jesus, Oh my Lord" at night while that woman does nasty things to you does not constitute a prayer for your family!
Emily, keep the mascara streaks; it will keep people from staring at your nose!
Seriously, though, I do keep your comrades and all the military in my prayers. If it weren't for them, I'd have to post this in German and I no spaken se deutsch!
