Who Am I?

I was born by caesarian operation when my mother died in childbirth in 1204. I became a member of the Mercedarian Order, founded to ransom Christian captives of the Moors of North Africa. I became a hostage and suffered in captivity. A legend states that the Moors bored a hole through my lips with a hot iron, and padlocked my mouth to prevent me from preaching. I was ransomed by Peter Nolasco. I am the patron saint of midwives.
